digital garden
- a term popularized by Maggie Appleton
- should be low friction
- tend to in short bursts
- builds complexity through linking (ie evergreen note)
- in many instances seems public facing, a performative middle ground between tweets (remember when that was "micro blogging"?) and blog posts/research papers
Unlike an actual garden, it doesn't grow without your input. I don't think that's necessarily a dealbreaker.
why have a digital garden?
