Sort of halfway between a table of contents and pure wild west graph theory: you have a note that links to other notes on that topic (ie evergreen note to some extent), providing a gateway of sorts to that topic.
Notes/nodes can still link to each other (evergreen notes should be densely linked), and it can be hard to keep the MOC updated, but it still may be a worthwhile thing in some cases.
